AI
Pro is planned to include 500 AI questions a month for its owner; Free is planned to have 75 in the calendar month you start, then 35 a month. Business included-AI terms are still being set. These hosted allowances are not built yet. Today AI works with your own key, in the CLI and in the web app; that use does not count against hosted AI allowances. Shared projects covered by an ended subscription become read-only and cannot use AI. Free personal and public projects retain their Free limits.

Who counts
Users describe access; active users describe monthly Business usage. Access and editing follow project permissions; Business billing is not yet available.

Sneat Space permissions govern cloud projects. GitHub-hosted writes require both GitHub permissions and DataTug Space and service checks.

- Distinct users who edit or execute data queries, including local execution in a shared cloud project. Actual query edits count before execution; opening or focusing the editor alone does not. Who gets the launch price?
The offer is available while fewer than 30 DataTug base subscriptions are active, and reopens if that count falls. Each subscription counts separately: Pro belongs to your personal space, and each Business subscription belongs to its business space. If you pay for two Business spaces, both can qualify for their own discount. An existing launch discount remains while that qualifying base subscription continues. It does not discount Business usage, prepaid capacity or optional Space SSO. We confirm eligibility and the final price at checkout.
What does “for life” mean?
A percentage off, such as the launch offer’s 30%, applies to the base price of Pro or Business on the day of each charge while your qualifying paid plan continues. Business usage, prepaid active-user capacity and optional Space SSO do not receive this discount. It follows you when you change covered base plan or billing period. It ends when your qualifying paid plan ends; any returning-customer terms are confirmed before a new purchase. If we rename or replace a plan, your percentage moves to its replacement. If we withdraw the hosted product, we give notice, and the percentage ends with the product.
What happens if the price changes?
A percentage off follows the list price. If the list price rises, the same percentage comes off the new price. If a list price changes, we tell you before your next renewal. Each plan includes the limits shown here. If we later add a limit that is not on this page, or lower one, it applies to new paying customers only: what you bought, you keep. A free allowance is not something you buy: it may change, and we say so before it does.
Can I change plan?
For now, ask us to change your plan or billing period. The Business purchase and usage-billing journey is not available yet. We will confirm the timing and price before any change. A qualifying launch percentage follows a covered base price, never Business usage, prepaid capacity or optional SSO.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
For Pro and Business base subscriptions, ask within 30 days of your first payment for a full refund of that first base payment, monthly or annual. A full base refund ends the affected paid access immediately. Usage charges, prepaid capacity and SSO have separate refund terms.
What happens if I cancel after 30 days?
For monthly Pro or Business base subscriptions, cancellation stops renewal and access continues through the paid month. A latest-month refund may be offered as a goodwill exception; it is not automatic. For annual base subscriptions, cancellation ends the affected paid access immediately and refunds the unused paid term at the annual rate you actually paid, including any discount. Usage charges, prepaid capacity and SSO have separate terms.
How can people work on projects?
Every plan allows unlimited owner-only private projects and unlimited public projects, with no plan cap on public-project editors. Pro adds 5 invite-only shared projects with up to 5 authenticated users each, including the owner; every user counts regardless of role. Sneat Space permissions govern access, editing and saving in cloud projects. GitHub-hosted writes require both GitHub permissions and DataTug Space and service checks. Pro's included AI is for the owner alone.
